This year Thrifty sponsored 15 Angels in the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. Giving back to the communities that support us is incredibly important to us, and we feel blessed to work with such a great organization.
Our President and Owner, Joel Gillis, offered up the following thoughts, "We are so thankful to partner with the salvation army to insure that less fortunate kids still get a Christmas as well! It warms my heart to be a part of it and to see our employees put so much into it."
Lora Walker, our Director of Human Resources and Operations echoed Joel's sentiment, adding, "Helping to bring joy to children at Christmas is such an honor! We love joining with the Salvation Army by sponsoring "Christmas Angels" each year. May each child be blessed with a peaceful and happy holiday season!"
